Rob Mooney is the Director of Distribution Enterprise Development for the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership (CGEP). Rob oversees the development and incorporation of CGEP’s distribution enterprises globally, including business case preparation, and oversees the management of the distribution enterprises in-country to optimize their financial and social performance.
Rob is originally from South Africa and has fifteen years of international strategy, operations and financial management experience at Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline and Norgine Pharmaceuticals. Rob was most recently the Finance Manager for P&G’s Global High Frequency Stores Channel and the Global Distributor Operations Center of Excellence, where he focused on developing effective go-to-market strategies and best in class distributor capabilities across P&G’s more than 1,000 distributors in 180 countries. Rob also led a multi-functional global team that designed and deployed an urban consumer, shopper and store insights-driven strategic framework across NA, LA, EMEA and Asia to capture the multi-billion dollar topline revenue growth opportunity in the world’s top 600 cities. Rob has a Masters of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
